It's only about a couple of days until the picnic! We are looking for some help in the kitchen and some people to work the gate and direct the parking. The committee chairs are Dave Bodah and Theresa Trudell. Please contact us if you want to help out. This is the club's biggest fund raiser for the year and if you would like tickets to sell to your friends please contact Claude @ 518-891-3580 or Dave @ 518-891-5989 or Theresa @ 518-891-4505. The picnic and ticket drawing this year is on September 6th from Noon to 4 PM. There will be Chinese auction items and two 50/50 raffles. I hope to see a lot of you there for the festivities.

I want to thank Al and all those who made this event a success time and time again. Also Al told me he is retiring from the gun show business and that he will help whoever his successor is to organize and put on a good show. If you are interested in being the event chair of the Gun Show please contact me or Al at 518-201-4018. If no one steps up and takes on this project there will be no more guns shows at the club.

Thank you C.C. for taking over the trap program. I want to thank Steve Lane for trimming the bushes down near the river. We have put a few new and some old safety measures in place. There are still a few weeks of shooting to be had so come on over and show the clay birds how to turn into dust!
